Floppy disk drives in laptops?

Floppy disk drives in laptops?

2014-04-17 by niemand1334@...

I know omniflop and emxp require an internal floppy drive to work properly. I have a winxp computer for this purpose. However, do the floppy disk drives in laptops also work? Ones that are internally installed (obviously not usb). Unclear if those used different protocols or whatever. Sorry I'm fair computer tech illiterate.

they are ok as they use a floppy controller on the mother board

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
