E-mu upgrade kits new old stock

Hi everybody, I'm new in this group. I run a technical service in Spain specialized in vintage electronic instruments (www.moogchild-synthdrome.com). Right now I have a lot of rare E-mu upgrade kits for sale at ebay (look for seller 'moogchild') which I think would be of your interest, like:

Moogchild-

I think you need to modify your listing for the (UPGRADE KIT 2008).

That adds EXTERNAL SCSI connection.

But it doesn't include the ICs to add SCSI (TIM PAL / 5380/ EPROM) to a NON-SCSI logic (per the installation document).

Unless you have / are giving KIT 2007 or 2009 with it?

Hi Ted, it is ok, that's what the 2008 kit includes if you take a look at the installation PDF in the file section of this group. The 2008 kit adds external SCSI connection to a Emax HD, which already has the three chips as long as it is an HD. That's what I said in the listing, the Emax has to be an HD SE. Most of the descriptions in my listings comes directly from the installation documents included in the kits, as this is the case.

Just wanted to say thanx for the:

E-MU VINTAGE KEYS EXPANDER OFFICIAL UPGRADE KIT 9055

I've been wanting it since I've bought my Vintage Keys back in 1994, at that time I didn't have the money to buy the expansion.

Last time I saw one on eBay was about 10 years ago… it was also an old "new stock" and of course I didn't bid enough to get it.

For 2 or 3 years, Ive been searching for a VK+ that's out of order until I found an eBay your auction the other day.

When I opened the blister, even the box was vintage, it smelled like an old book that hadn't been opened in decades :-)

It works perfectly and I'm happy with it.

You are welcome. That was my last Vintage Keys upgrade kit. I still have some new old stock kits for other E-mus I will probably list in eBay in the next weeks. I'm moving my technical service and synth collection to a new facility right now and I'm very busy. I'll probably put some kits for sale directly in my website www.moogchild-synthdrome.com.
