try writing a new disk if that dont work i would say the floppy drive is faulty

have you disconnected the hd drive inside also

the emax wont boot from cd you need a scsi hd which is set to scsi id0 for it to boot from scsi

other wise if you have a device other than that you will need to boot by floppy first to the + version so you can change scsi id

"Disc Error" or "Disc not formatted".

Try using EMXP / omniflop to write a disk (you need a PC for this).
