Emax

One of my emax SE HD racks is failing. Sometimes it boots fine 
sometimes all the lights come on and nothing happens. There is no hd 
in the unit it has a cable to attach an external zip drive to it and 
Some disks. I am asking $100.00 + shipping from 33777 email me at

Hey Kevin, John Brockman here.  I finaly broke down
and bought an Emulator II.  Hopefully it will not
break down as well.  I finally said what the fuck I
should just get one.  I sold all my other stuff and
I'm doing the PT LE M-Box thing with Reason and some
plugins.  I decided I needed something physical to
fuck with besides my hand.  I'm hooking my Mac SE up
to it when I receive it.  I'm purchasing Sound
Designer II that controls it.  There is also a floppy
upgrade available for it to replace the 5'' drive with
a 3" drive.  Gonna try that as well.

Any advice or sound banks for the EII?  Let me know if
I could copy if so.

Otherwise, I hope all is well and tell that beautiful
woman of yours hello from me.  If she knows who the
fuck I am.

Hey, I actually, finally got my emax to work fine. I guess when it traveled out to me from california it jarred some of the internal components loose. I just reseated them and cleaned the connections and all was fine. This is good because I love the emax It sounds soo fucking good. I purchased the 3.5 kit for my Emulator II + HD but I have yet to install it I will let you know how that goes. I am hooking it up to a 512 mac and I have sound designer II for it allready. I am going to use my SCSI array for my E II , and E III samplers. The emax I plan to install an internal zip drive on it. I looked into purchasing a digi 02 system and mac laptop. I got all of my money together then Randy from the Crimson Twins emailed me and told me he was moving to England and would be selling all of his studio stuff for $3500.00 I ended up with a fairlight IIx, Kurzweil K250, Kyma, emax se hd, Emulator II + HD , and a fostex foundation. I had some left over so I blew my money shot on a PPG 2.2 . Weird how it all works But I am sure you would have probibly done the same.  

Amy and I are getting married on the 17th of next month. It should be cool she says hi she misses hanging out but does not miss arthor. anyway drop me a line if your in town and would like to play around with some keyboards or go out about the town your allways welcome . 

PS if you get a chance check out the Faint show comming in a week or soo Awsome 80's sounding band check them out on MP3 .com I think you will like there stuff
