Emax I disks work in Emax II keyboard?

Emax I disks work in Emax II keyboard?

2003-04-16 by Karl M

I have a venerable (s/n 118) EMAX I rack unit.

This week I see an EMAX II keyboard advertised for $400.

Could I use my hundreds of EMAX I sounds on floppy in the EMAX II
keyboard?

thanks -

Karl

yes, but keep in mind that they will sound different, as the emax I has analog filters and the emax II has digital...

check ebay, they often go for less than $400 (that price is quite high)
