I know I'm a litle of subject here, but I'll try anyway. Does anyone know were I can buy the memory upgrade from 4 megs to 8 megs for the EIII? The kit includes the Emu PAL chip and instructions. Thanks Brian

For details check and/or email Rob at www.emulatorarchive.com on where to get them, I believe he can help. Regs RR

Hi Rascalrevenge Yes, I have e-mailed Rob at emulatorarchive but he has a lot to do so unfortunately he cannot focus on it. I've tried SoundSource (a tip) and some other stores who sell Emu kits, but none of them had the memory upgrade kit for the EIII. Best regards Brian rascalrevenge <rascalrevenge@...> wrote: --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "brian_ronn" <brian_ronn@y...> wrote: > I know I'm a litle of subject here, but I'll try anyway. > > Does anyone know were I can buy the memory upgrade from 4 megs to 8 > megs for the EIII? Last year I bought the PALs from EPR electronics (authorized E-mu east coast representative in the US) try the (www.epr.com) ??? and it cost about $20.00. The memory is easy to find as it is standard 30 pin SIMM technology. If I remember correctly you can use non-parity (8 chip) or parity (9 chip)??? in the first 8 simm slots. remove the old 256k simms as the will be useless and could cause problems. Hope this helps, Skip >From: Brian Ronn <brian_ronn@...> >Reply-To: emax@yahoogroups.com >To: emax@yahoogroups.com >Subject: Re: [emax] Re: Emulator III memory upgrade >Date: Sun, 29 Jun 2003 18:40:32 +0200 (CEST) > _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
