Installing Emax II Internal HD

Installing Emax II Internal HD

2003-10-03 by homershines

I have owned this Emax II for quite a long time now. It came with no internal HD. I'm getting kinda tired of the
sound and added electronic noise of my current external HD. Anyone have any clues as to how to mount an
internal HD without the EMU drive sled?

Thanks and Peace.

Re: [emax] Installing Emax II Internal HD

Hi Homershines

I bought a open 5.25" plastic case for my 3½" harddrive.I painted the top of the small screw holes in the Emax II and placed the plastic case on top of the screwholes when the paint was still wet. With the painted markers on the case I was able to see were I should drill the new screw holes in the 5.25" case (I had to do the drilling because the existing screw holes in the my case did not match the position of the screw holes in the Emax II). After drilling the new holes in the case I fitted the hd in the case and at last screwed the case in the Emax II.

Best regards

Brian
