Emax se

Hey guys, I have recentlt blown off the dust on my favorite unit ever.
I once owned an Emax se and a Emax HD with the SE upgrade. I now own
a rack unit Emax with the SE upgrade but with no HD.

2 MAJOR ISSUES

1. NO DISK! NO OS! I live in LA. Can someone help me out.
2. How expensive is a HD for this unit? Disks are great, but...

I want to use this unit in live situations, probably because you
can't here the sound degradation on a huge PA. And I do industrial
music anyway. I like the metalic color in the lower quality sampling
rates.

i NEED A DISK AND SOMEONE TO TEACH ME HOW TO USE THE emx files.

If it hadn't already been upgraded to HD you will not be able to just buy an HD and put it
in. If it already was a HD model, but the HD is dead your best bet is doing the mod to
allow it to use an external Zip 100 drive.

Hi,
If you have problems with making an OS diskette from the online downloads,
we can send you a new DS/DD Emax OS diskette via air mail for just 15
dollars or Euros. Guaranteed to work and with a free sample bank.

Refurb HD's will cost 50 -100 dollars (www.ccsdrives.com), but you need to
check your digital board to see whether you have SCSI installed (its
unlikely, but sometimes E-mu Systems put HD boards in an Emax SE). See the
web site for details.

Look out for an Emax SE HD, and get the SCSI ZIP100 upgrade - see web site
for details.
If you do get a ZIP100 I can get you over 20 ZIP100 carts full of Emax
professional sample banks..

Regards
Rob
