Alchemy Mac Midi interface?

Alchemy Mac Midi interface?

2003-12-02 by elmacaco

Does Alchemy need a midi interface to communicate to the emax? or is the
serial port and midi manager enough?

I know nothing about macs.

Lately, I've been using Alchemy with my old Mac and Emax 2 using just
the RS422 cable. Meanwhile my G4 has a MOTU Midi Express XT Midi
interface connected to the Emax 2 via Midi in/out.

Hope that helps.

Peace.

Yes, it does, Thanks.

What midi drivers do you have on the mac? OMS or Midi manager?

Thanks

On both my old Mac and the newer one, I use OMS.

Peace.
