Hey,

I know this is a MPC3k group, but I also know many of you use other sampling
drum machines.

I'm looking for a micro controller for an E-mu SP-12 Turbo drum machine. Anyone
know what the part is called, and where to buy it?

Sorry for being off topic, but the part is hard to find, and I need to explore
every possible option.

I think this is all on the emulatorarchive.

But I remember the mp being a Zilog part.  Actually I thought there 
were several in my SP1200.

Hi,
The SP-12 micro controller is a collection of TTL logic chips - refer to the
schematics.
The SP-12 micro-processor is a standard 4MHz Z80.
