my samples

hi

i'm new to this group! after years and years i'm finally getting back into
music. i dusted off my old emax 1 and am enjoying rediscovering how much fun
it is to make music (or something close to it). :D here's a list of
samples i have on floppies, should anyone want to trade. to be honest, i've
only checked a few disks to be sure they're still "good." this week i'll be
going through the entire lot to ensure they'll ALL operational:

grand piano / woodwind ensemble / french horn section / rock organ /
marimbas/vibes / electric bass / tine strings / arco strings /
linear synthesis #2 / fairlight / james brown / three stooges /
effect drum/word up / orchestra hits / das synth / pipe organ /
soundset / sound des tabla / synth fx-x4/thor iii / kyodai synth
collage / bam choir / electric grand/synth / bliss disk top 40 /
jason part 13 / breathy bottles/harp harmonics / chinese koto / loon
garden / pizzicato strings / ethereal stuff / solo arco cello/violin
/ steel-string guitar / nylon-string guitar (roy's guitar) / sarod /
rock guitar lead/rhythm / rain & thunder / tack piano/accordion /
africa / african instruments / circa '69 / 12-string guitar chords /
big brass/cymbal crash / tenor sax / pee wee / harmonica / mixed
chorus/synth string / pop brass / rock kit / toys we "r" / autoharp
/ linear synthesis #1 / linear synthesis #5

whew! i didn't realize i had so many! i used to go to the music store, and
for $3 would copy emax discs onto discs i brought with me.

pat :)

welcome to the group pat,
if your able to run the emx
program, it is a good
way to expand your sound library. It is a little bit frustrating to use
as there are...... dare i say alot of banks out there that dont work
(thats why i posted the analog Giant emx file, because I finally found
a members page who actually had a working bank posted.)
