Emax

I was wondering if any one knew which old mac to buy for my old emax 
SE????    

Im also looking for alchemy or sound designer

Any older pre-OSX Mac with serial ports should work.
I thought somebodty had Alchemy here.

If you want to run ALchemy, you need an even older Mac. Someone more
knowledgeable than me might chime in here, but I know Alchemy didn't work
right for me under OS9 on a G3. I think you need pre-power PC machines for
it to work.

Me parece que por tu apellido sabes hablar español.
Sobre tu pregunta te recomiento una Power PC 7100 u 8100. Yo tengo una
8100 con un procesador a 225 MgHertz Crescendo de Sonnet. Conecto vía
SCII (con un cable RS432) mi Emax II y la 8100. Este sistema funsiona
perfectamente. Si puede conseguir una vieja tarjeta Audiomedia II sería
fantástico porque con ella podrás grabar lo que quieras y mandarlo por
el RS432 al Emax. Evidentemente todo esto lo tienes que hacer con
Alchemy.
