we should use copyqm instead of emx!

we should use copyqm instead of emx!

hello everybody :)

I'm rather fresh emax 2 user but have some experience with old
synths and samplers. I've just finished my long adventure with emx,
tried everything, different doses, disk drives. this program really
sucks. And the library in *.em1 format is corrupted. I don't how
many od you are truly interested in playing with emax - I am. And I
need sounds :) I own another old sampler, korg dss1 - it uses weird
file system too and its library is archived with copyqm and IT WORKS
GREAT. You don't have to use dos 3.3 and spend nights shuffling with
floppies. With no effect. It's simple - boot floppy made with XP is
enough. All we need is someone, who has the emax library (Not
corrupted one) and who, with our kind request, is going to copyqm
it. Or maybe it's already done?? It would be really nice. There's OS
for E2 in file section, made with copyqm - it works great, I wonder
if somewhere are another disk-images.
I think that's a good idea, especially when I can't get any banks :)
and your posts say the same - never ending troubles with emx. Let's
change it. copyqm works fine.

have a nice christmas time

Paul,

I found the stuff on the net to be working fine for me. I have approx. 80 disks of original
Emax factory sounds. I can make floppies available for people who are less lucky with the
emx program. I also would like to trade sounds with other members to expand the library
to the fullest amount. However, I believe that the current disk represents a good variety of
sounds.

Cord

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
