I think the key factor with the Emax II and SCSI Zip drives is you must have an early Zip drive - I got one as soon as they came out, more or less, and it's always worked flawlessly with my 1993 Emax II. I've heard that later production drives can be difficult - you may also have the infamous "click of death" problem to deal with. Karl Burke
