I have been searching this users group for info on replacing the PSU on an Emax HD- someone had mentioned he had purchased 1 from a Mendelson Electronics in Ohio- I just called them and there are sold out- Anyone else have a lead on where I might find a PSU that will work to revive my machine? Thanks! michael

I do believe that it is much more cheap to get, and easier other E- max. I planning to do so, because of it is hard to get spare parts. cheers/ niklas --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "jarrre909" <jarrre909@y...> wrote: > > I have been searching this users group for info on replacing the PSU > on an Emax HD- someone had mentioned he had purchased 1 from a > Mendelson Electronics in Ohio- I just called them and there are sold out- > > Anyone else have a lead on where I might find a PSU that will work to

Niklas, Very true- I'm finding that out quickly. The only reason I haven't done what you suggest is at best you still have an old power supply that could go at any time. At least with a new one you should get a longer life from the Emax. In addition, today I was able to track down the Kepco part # for the replacement PSU- it can still be ordered for about $90 US--"$120 for me in CAN. I'm just hoping that if after ordering it and paying for the install that it will work on the Emax! Thanks for your post!
