Re: [emax] loading sounds / DOS 6.22

I've got a 486 that I keep specifically for writing HD Mac disks, Emax disks and Ensoniq Mirage disks. Anything with a floppy will do. Freedos works well for this job (www.freedos.org). The problem I have is that samples loaded from an Emax I disk into my Emax II sound "clicky", ie the loops are somehow wrong. But it's not just loops, it can click in the attack portion of a sound. All very wierd. I'm rather worried that it's going senile, and a memory IC is going bad. The self-tests exonerate it completely though. Strange... Cheers, Gordon ----- Original Message -----
