Emax

Hi all,

I've bought an Emax, but i think there's something to fix.

I've done the EMAX OS 3.2 Floppy with EMX using DR-dos, and i've done
two copies, on DS-DD floppy and on HD floppy to be sure.

Both gave me the same message on EMAX.

Once inserted, they produce a little buzz then display shows:
"DISK NOT FORMATTED".

I've done something wrong or is my floppy that blown up?

Hi there...

Do this:

If you have your Emax Running, try to format the disk in your emax 
first, and then copy the OS and the bank in the disk with E M X.

If you don't have your emax running, and you have windows XP, do this
Download the EMXP software from: http://users.skynet.be/emxp/ (read 
instructions first, because you have to change your floppy drivers) and 
then format the disk (DSDD preferred). Once you have the disk in emax 
format, copy the OS that you want, and a bank on it, and it should work 
fine.

If that doesn't work or you don't have XP, try EMX but with DOS 6.22 or 
earlier.
