Hello- I am the original drummer from the Chicago area band -Stabbing
Westward. I can tell you that we used the Emax I and the SP-1200
exclusively during the early years. Cheers! -Angelo

I remember recording Stabbing Westward drums in 91-92? at my moms house and lending
Chris my Emax 2 to finish the label demo sessions @ Jem in Evanston. I still have those
samples from Lies, Violent Mood Swings and more but Chris V was the drummer then and
later joined Nails. Were from before or after the record contract?

I was on board pre-signing with Andrew Hunter on guitar for about two years during the old Avalon days. Jim Sellers and I were in another band called Cathedral Burn before hooking up with Chris, Walter, and Andrew. Like alot of people- Chris and I didn't get on so well and that led to the end of my tour of duty. Cheers! -Angelo

No problem, I may be forthcoming with some other kool stuff in the future if the mood strikes me. If anyone else in the group is interested in some early 'SW' memorabilia let me know and I'll send it along. -Angelo
