man, you need a PCMCIA card reader setup like no one
else. Makes one wonder what Pretty Hate antics the
thing can really withstand. [w]

Emax PCMCIA

2007-05-08 by Wayne Griffin

there's a serious problem,

I wrote Microtech the other day to inform them that
everybody in the vintage sampler world, which has to
amount to 10,000 people want at least 2 to 5 of these
things. Although I didn't explain it to them in those
terms... It makes me sick to see the squabble over
things like PCD-47b. I wish a petition would work. [w]

yeah, and that's not the only problem...

I live in Argentina, so it's more difficult to me get one of these.

can I use a internal SCSI ZIP drive connected to the HD port to
replace HD?

it's almost the same size of the floppy drive. can i remove it?

I think you'll have a problem because Zip's can only see ID's 5 or 6 in the SCSI chain.

But, If you have an HD Plus you can use an external SCSI Zip.

Internal-3,5"-Zip-Drives can be jumperd from ID 0 to 6 :-), only
external ones have the limitation.

I have some internal-Zips (built in external housing) which i use with
W-30 and MPC-60 (with SCSI-Option) at ID=0, unfort. my emax has no
SCSI :-(
