I have a spare Emax 2 HD keyboard and cant afford the space to keep on my studio table--is it safe to stand these on its side long term or will plastic warp over time as its a very heavy unit
thanks in advance

They always told me not to put it its side for a long term.
That being said I have done this anyway due to a real lack of space in
my previous house. But once in my new house I started using the unit
again and it still works fine.
But I decided not to put any of my keyboards like this against the wall
anymore. So I ended up building a huge closet in which 15-20 keyboards
can be kept horizontally. I'm actually quite proud of this piece of
furniture :-) it only takes 2 meters by 1.2 meters and is only 95 cm
high.

There is not problem, is not that the liquid crystal is going to leak ;)
But the furniture idea sounds cool. Just keep it dry and ventilated or really well packaged
because of humidity, that would be a concern.
