Sample converter!!!

2008-11-07 by vlaves75

Hello I am a EmaxII owner and i'm trying to move my cds sample on a
zip format.I've got a cdrom Apple CD150 which doesn't work (I bougth
thinking it would be ok with Emax2) and a Zip100 unit.I've a Pc but
without internal floppy.
How can I do that? Which cdrom does work with emaxII?
thanks

Hi,

I had the same problem with the Emax II. I tried many different CDROM drives but none of them
worked. In fact the Emax II could not even detect the drives. But the Zip 100 worked perfectly.

Luckily there is a solution. The fabulous EMX program can read the Emax II CDROM disks using the
CDROM drive on your PC and the banks can then be copied onto Zip 100 disks. You will
presumably need a SCSI card in the PC to connect the Zip 100.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
