Key Assignments

2008-11-10 by pauldays1

Hello Group,

Newbie....I have sampled a sound and the Emax II defaults it to G1,
now the note i know is F, how can I assign that sample to an "F" key?
I've read the manual, but it is not clear.

Thanks.

Paul

The simplest way is to copy voice in "Preset Definition", and place the
sample that you want.

Press Sample 2 ("Place Sample"), you'll be presented with something like:

P/S Orig Low Hi

Change the Orig from G1 to whichever octave F you want.

You can also do this after the fact using Preset Definition "2" --
Edit Assignment.

It seems pretty clear to me from the manual.
