I want to upgrade my Emax to a SE version so I need the SE upgrade disc image for EMXP, anyone have it? The one in the files section does not work in EMXP.

Rich, EMXP only allows sound bank and operating system files, not special purpose disk images from Emu. No problem however: the EmaxSEUpgrade.zip file in the files section can be copied to a disk with the OmniFlop software itself. Make sure you have a blank Emax formatted floppy disk (either formatted by the Emax or by OmniFlop). Then start the OmniFlop wizard and select "write disk", unflag the "automatic detect" and select the 80*2*10*512 Emax standard disklayout from the list. (you have to do the same thing if you have to format the disk first). Select the unzipped SE upgrade disk image as a source file and start the write process. If this is the very first time you're using Emax disks with OmniFlop, the software will ask you to get a free license first. But this takes only a few seconds... ///E-Synthesist --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "Richard" <rish@...> wrote: > > I want to upgrade my Emax to a SE version so I need the SE upgrade > disc image for EMXP, anyone have it?
