I would try to check if there are any fault on the keyboard contacts. (Once I had a problem on a section with the key off common pcb track, and it did the same but just on a section).
Go to ,,,mmmm ,.,.., (I have not the emax in front!!) go to Master I think, and try to reach MIDI Analyzer function. Then check that every time you press and depress a key, the screen tells you a KEY ON and then a KEY OFF message.
If so, then it should not be a keyboard problem.
If it doesn't show any KEY OFF message, you have a mechanical or pcb keyboard problem.
