Hard Drive Mounting Plate Emax 2

Hard Drive Mounting Plate Emax 2

2009-07-09 by John

Does ANYONE have an idea, a link, a clue, a hint, a lead which I may use or follow to get a mounting plate to mount my internal SCSI hard drive into my EMAX 2 Keyboard Model 2212?

I've formatted the drive, loaded the os on it checked to for booting and all I need is to mount it and then I'll be in EMAX 2 heaven!

Thanks!

I don't know where you could get one. But, the actual mounting plate is just a square piece of metal with four holes to screw the hdd to it and four holes to screw it to the emax chassis so it should be easy enough to make. Failing that just get some velcro and stick the hdd to the chassis that way....I did that with my first emax and it worked fine.

When I had my emax open last night it looked like the mounting bracket would fit a standard 5.25" to 3.5" holder, the ones used in PC cases to mount Hdd and floppies in the larger cd-rom slots. Please measure this before buying though as I am not 100% on this and it wasn't my focus of attention.
