Emax

hello folks. was a long time user of an emaxII keyboard - but then
it died one day (stolen chips actually). but managed to pick up
an emax II rackmount just recently. it worked untill i tried to 
install a emax HD i got on ebay - and now when i turn it on/off
with or without the cables to the Hd connected i get 'please insert 
disk' - doesnt scan for hd or scsi(have zipdrive w/ emax os/sample 
disk. did i do something that involves having a upgrade disk? i have 
the OS on three differnt disks, yet this is not what it wants.
i'm stuck at a brick wall! i tried both the floppy drive it came with 
as well as my older emax's floppy drive....
