Emax II MIDI SysEx map for BCR2000

Emax II MIDI SysEx map for BCR2000

2010-02-21 by chevytravelleruk

Hi Chaps

I seem to remember back in the day when I had my Emax I that there was a Cubase Midi Mixer which worked as a nice synth editor by accessing the SysEx strings for the parameters.
Seeing as the Emax II has similar or better implementation I wondered if it would be possible to set up my Behringer BCR2000 so work as a hardware editor for the Emax II's synth functions.
Has anybody else attempted this?.. anyone know if the maps are available?.. This is the first time I have tried this, so any help would be much appreciated. Needless to say, any fruit I produce along the way, I shall be happy to post up here

Simon

I need to figure out the same thing for my Emax II and Kenton ControlFreak.

It might be different if you have a hard drive, but on my floppy only Emax SE, whenever I attempt to edit certain settings using a cubase midimixer the whole machine, and any sound output, is suspended while the floppy drive reads the disk and thinks about it. For this reason, I gave up attempting to get BCR2000 control of my Emax.
Cheers, Alan
