Any idea if this is possible? Or how to go about doing this?

You may have lost the eeprom programming.
This is the "scrambled megs" condition that people talk about.
Emu used to offer a service to fix this, but my understanding is they no
longer do so.....

My understanding also is that the disk is a one-time use and once you lose
the eeprom setting, you would have to re-program the eeprom.

Ted

You have to socket the eeprom.
Someone here on the group has the file and can make eeprom for this once you
socket it if you can't get a programmer.
The chip is cheap - like 50 cents.

Ted

I guess i can start with trying to reseat the chips as that is something i can actually do. Im assuming by 'socket' the eeprom that the original is sodered in ans id have to remove it and put in place one of those pieces that allows you to interchange chips? Zipsocket? Can see about checking psu levels too. My neighbor knows that stuff.

Thanks for the help!
