Thank you Emax user group....

I couldn't have done it without your help. I finally got one of mine going and also with the ability to make library disks from my old Dell. So, thank you all for my stupid questions.

Now that I got most of the EOS library at my disposal, can anyone share some highlights of the collection, or have any really sweet disks to try out? I'm going through the files section of the user group, but does anyone have links to some outstanding disks that aren't so obvious? :)

there is a problem with eos disks and emxp

emxp cant read eos disks so you will need another program to convert to a format that emxp can read

now translator cant translate to e3 it translates to e3/esi format which is slighly different and emxp cant read that either

so the only option i have is to translate to soundfont2 in
extreme sample convertor then you can use emxp to convert to emax1/2 formats as long as the samples are not to long

I have always felt that the disk entitled "the bliss disk" is one of the
better ones. I believe it is in the files section
ZD777 or you can also download it from
 http://www.hermannseib.com/english/synths/emax/fds/floppy.htm

or you can also get it from my emax II folder
at http://www.ferrari-dvd.com/EmaxII/

that particular one is located under the new emx zips folder

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
