Data & Volume not working

Hello all Both the Data and Volume sliders have stopped working on my Emax 2 rack. While I can use the key pad for data entry,it is useless because I cannot get sound from any output.When trying to re- calibrate them - this is where they both show pot movement - I get the "pre" minimum value to 1003 and the maximum to 0406. Does this mean the sliders need replacing or the calibration settings need fixing ? If it's the sliders, are they still obtainable ? thanks Lyn
