93C06N image from 2 MB EMAX II

Hey everyone I am trying to fix a memory issue with an Emax II 4MB that i bought. I think the issue is with the memory daughter board. I would like to turn it into a 2MB version and would like to flash the 93C06N chip with the 2MB binary. Does any one have the Binary file of the 93C06N EEPROM for a 2MB Emax II? I would really appreciate it?

I see the 8MB version in the files section. Does anybody know what the differences are? Is there a way to use a HEX Editor to change it to a 2MB version?

Thanks,

I can also use the Image/BIN of the 4MB Version. Maybe I can reflash is to see it helps correct the issue I am having.

Thanks

Once you remove the memory expansion board the Emax II should then work as a 2MB machine,
without any reprogramming of the EEPROM.

It does not work properly. It actually says it is a 1MB version. I dont have the chip that gets removed when you update to a 4MB version i think its a diode/resistor array that goes on the motherboard. I get a message saying memory mismatch and the sounds are all distorted!

thanks
