Emax SCSI install repair

2012-08-10 by nuwavboy

Well, I had to go and push my luck...yesterday I installed a slim floppy and new backlight on my Emax 1 and everything was working great. I had a scsi kit I purchased from Ted and installed that today.

I checked everything as far as continuity goes while I was making cuts and jumps. Of course I finish, power it up and .... doesn't work. Screen is blank and floppy won't boot. I don't have a scsi drive hooked up right now, but I don't think that's what the problem is. Obviously I did something wrong and I can't really go any further on this. Does anyone here have experience with the SCSI install, and could I sent them my board to troubleshoot/fix? Obviously there is money involved.

A bit bummed right now, the backlight was great, and was looking forward to getting the scsi going. I'm in the Bay Area California.

best,
tom
