About optimum set up to run SDII

2012-08-19 by jaumemod

I've been thinking about the best way to work in the treatment of samples, create presets and banks form to transfer my Emax II. Currently I'm working on converting the samples again and again across different platforms and file systems. EMXP ... ChickenSys ... XP ... MAC OS X. .. SF2 ... EXS24 ... always with quality loss or errors. Well I feel that the best way to do this is the original, contemporary original equipment Emax II.
Which Mac SDII works better? Power Mac G3? Early models?

THX a lot parts.!

i use a macII ci

it needs to be a pre pci mac

as when it went to pci and os8 they changed the way they did midi

and sdII stopped support for sample dumping to samplers

so you need a macIIsi or ci or quadra which is the fastest nubus mac

mac se30

all running os7.6 is the highest os that will work
