Actually, the EmaxII can boot from any device, you just have to tell it which one.
Go to Master 9-Special > 6-SCSI Boot ID
If there is no boot device at the selected ID, then the Emax will scan the SCSI buss, and boot from the first device it finds.
For example, if the EmaxII is set to boot from SCSI ID 5 and there is no device there, but you do have bootable devices on ID's 2&4, it will boot from ID 2.
