i was wondering if anyone tried SDemax in Sheepshaver?

I haven't tried this, but even if the SD for Emax would start/run, it requires a synchronous RS422 serial communication with the Emax to be really useful. In practice this means that a device like the EmuSer must be used. But the serial drivers of Sheepshaver will have to be changed (source code level) in order to support this RS422 communication. The same is true for Basilisk on Windows.

Is much less trouble to get a real machine then this virtual stuff with
it's driver layers, etc.

Yes i understand, but it's getting hard to find old macs around here.
Do you know Any apps that would work on OS9? i have a g4 pci with
audiomedia3 and dvi, i could get an scsi lci card.
