Wow...what's up witha all the EML stuff on ebay recently? And...

Guido's Guide To Ebay Vintage Synth Speak

1. This is a rare analog synthesiser from the 70's in near mint shape.

READ: This is gonna be pricey and it still plays. 

2. If you are familiar with these old synths then you know what you 
are bidding on. 

READ: This is really gonna be pricey.

3. This machine is VERY RARE. You may never see another one on ebay.

READ: I remembered I had it after I saw another one sell for big bucks 
last month on ebay.

4. I have had this synth for many years and really do hate to sell it 
but it must go to make room for other things.

5.The only thing wrong with it is that one of the notes is mute but it 
is a minor repair.

READ: There is probably a lot more wrong with it and I am afraid to 
take it somewhere and find out.

6. Had it checked out by a tech and he says it's 100%.

READ: A buddy of mine, who works at Best Buy,  and I got drunk and 
stoned and, man...it still works.

7. It has the good oscillator board in it. 

READ: A friend, who has a virtual analog modular synth, says it sounds 
just like his old Moog sounds.

8. The synth has some light scratches, but nothing major…extremely 
well taken care of considering its age.

READ: I took pictures with my digital camera to mask the major dings 
and scrapes...but it makes a sound.

9. Although it works great, given it's age I am selling 'as-is'.

READ: It will die, completely.... next week.

10. I accept postal money orders only. I cannot get to the post office 
or UPS or anything other than odd numbered Tuesdays and Fridays, so 
don't expect me to send this to you with any sense of urgency.

READ: I buy and sell stuff on ebay for huge mark ups. I am also
