Eml synthesizers

this is my question :

how works and what does the control mode 4 on the oscillator 4 do,
in CM 3 , manual and mix mode ?

here it works like this but because i had some probs with my eml 101
i don't know if this is OK,

*in mix mode here the osc 4 plays the highest note on the keyboard, and
follows the control osc mixer and can tune and octave be selected

*in manual mode on oscillator 4 only tune and octave can be selected,

can you check this for me please, because i had some probs with my eml 101,
can someone give me a very details explanation pleeessaase,
