Maybe its for the 101 keyboard considering the form factor? some of them have a different multipin than others? Though thats just a guess. > > Certainly someone could have "faked"all this but to fool who and why? At > the very least it is clearly designed to work as an acccessory for other > EML gear. Well yeah, if its made by an EML employee, then thats pretty obvious its a spare time project... who knows there is a grey area, sometimes side projects when finished get pitched to the company as a potential product As for "faked" I didn't meen to fool people but as you probably know a lot of people who build a synth studio based around a brand will logically have any custom stuff if possible match their studio to look visually integrated. Thanks for the info, I was just curious because it didn't visually look much like a prototype, though I didn't doubt its very intentional EML styling > > >On the theme of pictures, anyone have a photo of a 'Black > > > >Monster'? I've never seen one pictured. > > What is it? > the first EML synth, built on contract for the Connecticut State college system in 1968 in a quantity of 20. The contract stated that had to weigh a minimum of 200 pounds so it couldn't be stolen by college students, so they incorporated a cinder block inside.
