EmulatorII-list

Hi,
Can anyone help with installing a new hard drive into an Emulator II+HD?
I am using a refurb Miniscribe 8425 drive, with OS 2.6 HD and a prepared
error list on floppy.

When trying to format either the old or new hard drive I get HD ERROR 36 and
the drive refuses to format.
The HD interface works okay as the old drive will read/write when its
spinning.
Anyone got any ideas what the problem is?

Does anyone have a copy of the EII OS 3.1 HD or 2.2 HD which they could send
me in exchange for sample diskettes ?
