Re: [emulatorII-list] Re: Cloning an emulator II ..

2011-09-15 by John B

I had an idea of finding a dead EII and gutting it. Placing a small LCD where the drives were and replacing the inerds with a good PC MB and an Emulator X sound card or a 8 output I/O audio interface like Maudio fast track ultra 8r. Some case modiing a couple solid state drives and mount a keybord and track pad on the top right of the case and you have a way cool workstation.

Yes obviously I get obsessed with Emus as well. I still regret selling my emax hd plus 10 yrs ago. If I get another it will never be sold!

A Rev. 2 or 3? I ended up getting a Rev.2 because it supposedly sounded better. Waste of time! You'd never be able to hear the difference between those 2 in a mix. Same applies to an EII and an Emax I! Period. I'm done with that kind of nonsense. :-)
