Re: [emulatorII-list] Re: EMXP runs on vintage Macintosh?

Thanks. I actually swapped cases from a Macintosh Classic II to a Mac Plus since I shot that image. It looks even more nostalgic. Those cases are tough to find without cracks and yellowing. I got super lucky finding 3 unused units recently. First I felt bad to cannibalize a perfectly good vintage Mac, but I got over it very quickly. I still run Sound Designer on a Mac SE/30 but it's more of a hassle than it's worth for me.

With EMXP, Awave, and the new Prophet 2002 editor, and a terabyte of storage, and other audio programs, than everything is cool. The screen can be wearing on your eyes after a while since it's so small but I have the Thunderbolt connection connected to an LCD projector which renders an 8" screen on my wall. Totally tits.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
