I guess the problem I'm experiencing is that a single sample often falls on both sides of the zero crossing making it very difficult to extract a single cycle waveform or loop. An example might be: striking a bell and then trying to grab a single wave cycle (post attack) for creating an ambient patch. I know DC Offset can cause zero-crossing problems, so I always make sure and deal with that before editin - either by processing the file through a Low Cut Filter or by using the algorithm in Logic's Sample Editor. I think I will try a test and record a sinewave into logic, like the one generated by the EXS, and see if I can grab a single cylce without any glitches. Thanks, Matt
