Subject: [gsp-2101] MIDIWizard experience

Hi folks,

I´m user of GSP 2101 for abt. 12 years and I love
it. I own a lot of stuff like pod pro, gt-pro, Triaxis
and so on, but the 2101 keep me satisfied in
most of all cases. Live or in studio: this machine
really rocks like hell.

Because of that reason I bought another one (2101 LE with ppc-210).
The question was: how to restore my patches to new machine.
I´ve read here abaout the MIDIWizard and I simply wrote a
mail to Graham Pearson who is one of the creator of this program
and he sended me a copy of the MidiWizard.

The MidiWizard helps me a lot to do my Bulk Dumps
and recreating the my patches in very simple way.
As usual there are some problems for first time.
I.e. I´ve tried to store a patch in the new machine but
the GSP that there is not enough memory to store the user
algorithm. But using the midiwizard´s option "user patch report" it
really no problem to detect these ones which are not used.
In my case 11 algo´s which are unused !!
The report shows you all of the user patches and factory presets
with algorithm the gsp is using.
Another great option is that you can create or modify your presets
in a graphic way on your pc or notebook.

I recommend this file for everyone who likes to store, backup or
modify their patches in a very simple way.
BTW: this program was the only one which I used without any
problems with XP (Thanks Bill !)

Also Graham was really great in supporting with some problems.
Thanx man.

Maybe the community is now able to share patches again.
It would be nice to hear about the experiences of other users.

Keep Rockin´
Michael
