While we are bashing gear....... I just picked up a Marshall JMP-1 and a Vox Valvetronix 100 watt head to goof with in the studio. The vox was beyond loud and had very usable sounds strikingly close to what amps it simulates. Plus it has a power attinuator to get that cranked sound at lower volumes. The VOX was $310 used and kicked the JMP's butt! The JMP-1 did have one creamy lead tone where the tube distortion was smooth and shredable. How ever when I plugged back into the 2101 I put the JMP-1 on eBay. Next I need to try the Piranha and Triaxis. Nothing I prefer better than the 2101 so far..... Anyone have the new 1101? I would imagine Harmon would go cookie cutter over tone any day $$$.

Amps I have tried so far.....

Bogner Excstasy Useful (not worth $3900)
Peavey Rockmaster Metal!!!
Hughes & Kettner ; JCM800 again
Boogie Studio, Rectofier Good one trick pony
Marshall JCM800 and JMP-1 Useful
Randall RG75 Suprising depth
ADA MP-1 Useful
Sansamp GT2 Sterile
Digitech RP 6,7,12,20 and 2101's 2101 tops my list
Boss GT8 good all in one runner up
Fender Twin and Princton classic clean
VOX AD100VTH All your favorite amps strikingly simulated.
VHT Pittbull Hot rodded JCM with better EQ
J-Station Shrill but useful
