All has been good w/ my 2101 and FC1 until thursady nite: the 
display on FC1 went blank, during a jam session.

I take extra special care, so there has been no trauma to it.  And 
the entire unit bought used a yr ago came in pristine shape...not 
even a scuff mark on FC1.

After it went dark I did every re-set I could thing of: turning off, 
unplugging and replugging.  After a short time the display was 
faint, which is where it stands now...it takes time for the display 
to show even the faintest readings.  And when powered I power up 
now , the FC1 says:
Digitech FC Ver. 1.02 (my unit is 3.00 artist).  Then I have to step 
on a bank to display the reading...all lites work on each 
bank....the expression pedal works.

I DID BUY A NEW MIDI CABLE but nothing changed w/ it.  

All I remember is a bank AND Bypass where on, and I pressed them 
maybe at the same time...otherwise I'm clueless how it happened and 
how to get it back to full speed.   Thanks guys!
