I'll go with my favorite advice which has fixed quite a few things for me in the past. Gently press down and reseat all the chips and ribbon cables/connectors inside. Other than that send it in or maybe one of the gurus here can help. Anyone? Bueller?

Subject: [gsp-2101] Control One died
Hi everyone. I've had my 2101 with the PPC-210 upgrade for almost 13
years now with no problems. That is until last month when I accidently
injected a dose of Phantom power to the unit and that called for a
visit to Utah for repair (guess I have the phantom power protection
upgrade now) Anyway, shortly after the factory returned it, I began
having problems with my foot controller just shorting out. I replaced
the cable and checked the sockets which seem tightly soldered to the
PCB's at both ends. Hardware seems fine. When I try to calibrate the
controller I get an error when setting the Min/Max positions.
Performed the Factory Reset but still no change. On this 2101 I have
left all the factory settings and have not tweaked any of the
perameters if that helps.
Any ideas what might cause this ?
Thank you !
James
