Re: [gsp-2101] Programs for Sanctus Real chorus+synth type sounds? [3 Attachments]

Charlie:

I've had some success with these kinds of sounds using either factory algorithm F23 Mod Dly->St Revrb or F28 Dly->Ducked Revrb.
Try copying the following factory programs into a user slot and then tweaking them:

Pre-version 3.00.00 Firmware: 168 Bit O'Grit (F23 Mod Dly->St Revrb)
Version 3.00.00 Firmware: 208 Bit O'Grit (F23 Mod Dly->St Revrb)

Pre-version 3.00.00 Firmware: 165 Duck da'Verb Blues (F28 Dly->Ducked Revrb)
Version 3.00.00 Firmware: 205 Duck da'Verb Blues (F28 Dly->Ducked Revrb)

Hope this helps.

  Any ideas on programs that would give me the kind of chorus-plus-synth sound in these clips (with or without delay), without needing a separate synthesizer?

  I think the basic guitar sound is a Gretsch or Tele with chorus, delay, and overdrive pedal into a Vox AC30. This kind of sound seems common with several other modern bands I like such as Hillsong United, Passion, and Chris Tomlin.

  Thanks for your ideas.
