try cleaning the actual jack with DeOxit 5%.. if that does not do it, examine the solder joints on the PCB for cracks.. if cracked, reflow the existing solder joints.. it could also just be that the jack itself has worn out and is not creating good contact and must be replaced..

HI,

My GSP2101 (updated to Artist) is giving the following problem:

One of the outputs is giving the signal about -10db lower than the other. Checked cables, that was not the problem. Tried both outputs (jack and canon) and the same result. It´s the mono/left channel that is now low-level and noisy.

I use to use the unit with both connectors (jack and canon) plugged simultaneously for this output. Tried both settings, both cables connected, and only canon connected, and same result: level reduced and noise appears when gain is applied in the mixing desk.

Any hint from any technician/experienced user here?

Thanks in advance,
J.
