What about the Genesis 3? From what I understand, it's more for studio work, and if you wanted to use it for live work, you'd need the external foot controller.
I agree, I'd love to see a fuller version of the 2101 with larger S-Disks, but sadly, I don't see that happening. Today, it seems everybody wants ease of use.

I looked at it on the website. The GNX3’s selling point is ‘ease of use’ probably at the expense of flexibility. I rather like being a sound engineer J

Also for me it’s easier to record directly to the PC and edit there rather than record/transfer/edit. Guess I’d really like to see an improved 2101 with more memory and a better preamp section. If I use a 4 voice detune on the 2101 there’s hardly room for anything else (guess I need more 2101’s).

Have you looked at DigiTech's GNX3? I haven't had a chance to try one yet, but I know my local dealer can't keep them in stock.
