Well, that's the main reason, but that's not the only one you might want to have that for. Thinking in real examples, I could also mention that by having a second S-Disk card you can program an algo which links two parametric EQ modules one after the other and then be able to count with an eight-band super parametric EQ. Or have two totally different pitch- shifter to mess around with. This one I've never tried though.
